I have naturally thick, curly hair which means it almost always craves more moisture.
Because of me hair texture I have to be especially careful when it comes to what products I use to keep it looking it’s best.
My go to product was Argan Oil for many years – until it completely stopped working for me.
I’m not sure if it was a change in formula or a change in my hair texture but the stuff actually was drying my hair out – so I was left in search of a new oil.
I had never heard of kendi oil before, but it came highly recommended to me so I decided to give it a try.
I can’t say enough good things about this product.
It has a pleasant, relatively neutral fragrance and goes on very light and doesn’t weigh my hair down while getting the job done.
My favorite thing about this product is how far a tiny bit of it goes – a dropper-full is all I need to lock in moisture after a shower, and it take only a few drops to smooth away fly-aways on a humid day.
As a bonus bamboo grows in abundance, behaving as an invasive species in many environments so while I don’t know where the company procures the main ingredients in this product, I can at least feel decent about that component of the sourcing.
I do think I’ll continuing to use this oil in my hair unless Alterna changes the formula.
