Potion Review: Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Weightless Texture Spray

PRODUCT: Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Weightless Texture Spray
BASICS: HAIR SPRAY | $10.99 / 4 oz | ORGANIC – PLANT-BASED – SUSTAINABLY SOURCED
HERBS: COCONUT – ALOE

As much as I liked Shea Moisture’s Yucca and Plantain Styling Milk, I really cannot say the same for this product.

It came highly recommended to me from salesperson at the store, so I was willing to give it a shot but I honestly kind of regret it.

For one it, smells way too sweet – if you like fruity smells, this line Shea Moisture products may be for you, but the scent of this product will have me avoiding it all together.

Of course that’s just personal preference, and I wish that was the only negative thing I had to say about the product.

Plain and simple, this product left my locks dry and parched – which seems kind of impractical for a product design specifically for curly hair.

I can see how maybe a person with oily, thick hair might benefit from this product – but it was certainly no good for my own bleached, curly hair.

I may try to use it as a sort of  dry shampoo alternative so it doesn’t go to waste – I think it might actually be quite good at that.

As much as I wish I didn’t regret this purchase I have say that I won’t be buying it again.

You’re welcome to try it yourself, but I cannot recommend it.
