Homebrew: Perfume – “Woodland Song”

TYPE: PERFUME
HERBS: CEDAR, BALSAM FIR, BERGAMOT.
USES: PERFUME, AROMATHERAPY.

This is one of the other perfumes I made in my first batch.

It’s a bright, energizing scent – applying it is an instant pick me up.

The bergamot and and balsam fir make this fragrance quite refreshing – when I apply it first thing in the morning it instantly improves my mood.

This particular combination is so uplifting – it reminds me of waking up in a pine grove and being greeted by early morning sunlight.

My only frustration with this scent was it’s longevity – I found that for some reason it faded faster than any of the others.

If anything, the essential oil combination was a win, but this perfume in particular makes me realize the need to to experiment with different carrier oils and alcohols for longevity.

Anyhow… expect additional incarnations of this scent in the future.
