Homebrew: Perfume – “Floral Offering”

TYPE: PERFUME
HERBS: LILAC, VIOLET, LAVENDER, ROSE, CLARY SAGE, FRANKINCENSE, BIRCH TAR.
USES: PERFUME, AROMATHERAPY.

This is another scent from the third brew of perfumes I tried out.

It was inspired by my success at replicating the smell of a campfire, where I used cade oil instead of birch tar.

My goal in creating it was to create a scent similar to a flowery-smelling smudge, and I am pleased to say this mix did the trick.

The result is a sensual yet grounding blend that is complex as well as feminine.

The floral blend of lilac, lavender and rose is feminine, while the clary sage ads a kick of fresh greenery to compliment them.

The frankincense and birch tar underneath make the blend a grounding, and mysterious aroma.

This scent wound up being a keeper and I would like to create variations with other flower oils I have on hand.
