Exfoliation is one of the keys to keeping your skin radiant – after all, your skin can’t glow or look healthy with a layer of dead skin covering it.
When you use a facial scrub you exfoliate away the dead skin to reveal the radiant, healthy skin underneath!
This is the first formula I’ve tried and it worked pretty well, so I wanted to share it!
It’s a simple four ingredient formula, but it left my skin smooth, moisturized and radiant.
The peppermint and lavender, in addition to being soothing aromatically, have a variety of antibacterial acne-fighting properties to help keep skin blemish free.
I was a little bit hesitant about the sugar, as I wouldn’t ingest it, but it didn’t seem to bother my skin at all.
This was a pleasant surprise, but in the future I think I would like to experiment with sea salt instead – and different essential oils.
It’s really quite easy to make body scrubs and there’s a lot of room for experimentation – so in the future I hope to share more with you all!
