Homebrew: Perfume – “Gray Wolf”

TYPE: PERFUME
HERBS: JUNIPER, CEDAR, SPRUCE, BAY LEAF, BLACK PEPPER.
USES: PERFUME, FRAGRANCE.

This blend conjures up the image of a lupine predator on the prowl in a cold mountain forest – freshly crushed berries and twigs under the powerful paws of an ancient canine predator.

The aromatic scent of fresh juniper berries dances with the smell evoked by rustling green spruce needles, while the familiar scent of cedar bark floats in the background.

The combination of bayleaf and black pepper blend to create a musky and bold backdrop for the scents of the forest to play over.

The overall scent is grounding, woodsy and bold, inspiring a feral confidence.

As I learn more about essential oils and aromatherapy I consider manufacturing blends and sharing them with the world… this is one that I would love to make available, once I tweak the ratios a bit.
